| Statement on Letter Bomb in Folkestone |
| A letter bomb has arrived in Folkestone |
7 January 2007 |
Michael Howard, MP for Folkestone and Hythe, said today:
‘I am very concerned about this device which I understand arrived on Saturday. I am sure that Kent Police will be cooperating with other forces to ensure |
that the perpetrator is brought swiftly to justice. In the meantime I urge my constituents to take care when opening their post.’
Seven letter bombs have arrived at addresses across the country in the last few days, targetting members of the public and organisations linked with traffic enforcement. |
