Michael Howard, MP for Folkestone and Hythe, made one of the lowest travel allowance claims of any Member of Parliament last year, figures published by House of Commons authorities show.
Michael Howard claimed £1539 on rail travel between |

Westminster and Folkestone and Hythe, and £80 for car mileage. He claimed nothing for flights or other modes of transport.
In contrast, Labour's Diane Abbott MP claimed a whopping £2320 on travel between Westminster and her inner London constituency. |
