Howard Supports Urban Bus Challenge Bid

Michael Howard, MP for Folkestone and Hythe has written to the Secretary of State for Transport, Alistair Darling, supporting Kent County Council’s Bus Challenge bid for the setting up of a community transport service for Folkestone.

Mr Howard said:
“I have written to the Secretary of State to express my support for this bid which will enable a community transport service to be set up to serve our local community. I have told the Secretary of State that I believe this would make a significant difference to the quality of countless lives. I very much hope that the bid will meet with the Secretary of State’s support.”
